  1. If I had to do that mine would read more like 400 TT, 100 Mooney. Gotta love the Autopilot!
  2. Only if you just count the marginal costs of the Mooney vs. the Airfare and disregard any status/frequent flyer upgrades/etc. Let's be honest, flying commercial is cheaper than flying and owning an airplane; but the flexibility and pride of ownership aren't things you can put dollar values on.
  3. That aircraft has been on the market quite a while if I am remembering correctly. At that price I would want not only complete logs, but a functioning backup AI, an engine analyzer and an Aspen
  4. She's a lot more expensive than the plane!
  5. I believe a more simple solution would be to change your input to the secondary audioinput in the GMA340 ( designed for "back seat" passengers). I don't think that one cuts out when receiving radio transmissions. The only downside would be that you would lose the ability to use the Pilot ISO button... I have both inputs wired into my M20C, and I enjoy the ability to segregate the intercom based on where people are sitting
  6. bump for new, fun, title!
  7. Sold Thanks Anthony!
  8. I use aero glaze for cleaning and poly glide for a polish. The airplane is noticeably shinier and also "slippery" after the polish. Towels will slide down the wings, for example. I've never measured any speed difference but it sure feels better to get out of a clean plane. Same with cars. Speaking of cars, I do wonder if any race teams have noticed a difference or tested the theory. There could be an application there as well as for OTR transport; fuel economy is important when you drive professionally
  9. That's also where mine is
  10. Selling my plane, so no longer need my backup headset, so I'm giving the Mooneyspace community a chance at it. It's not been used much as I have a set of JH Audio In-Ears that I wear as my primary. Comes with case and a bunch of new, never used ear inserts. The first $275 shipped + paypal fees takes it home.
  11. Ever since I installed my Aspen, everything else just doesn't feel right...
  12. I found the wings program to be cumbersome and poorly executed, so I stopped paying attention. That said, a BFR isn't really a big deal, especially if you've been flying with any regularity. I wouldn't worry about trying to exempt yourself from part of it; just go, learn something and have a good time!
  13. I know of one plane for sale that has all of the things you've listed, sans the long range tanks.
  14. Not in name, I suppose, but in reality I know of a few Cs that are more super than some Es

  20. Feel free to make an offer including the wife fair warning though, she's expensive to maintain. I'll post some interior photos tonight.
  21. I agree. A well equipped C can be a much better value than an E

  23. I believe that completes the specs and information. I'm going to give it a while before posting for sale on the major sites so the Mooneyspace Community has the first shot at it Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions; I'm glad to talk Mooney with anyone!
  24. For that sort of money I would want an autopilot. And maybe an Aspen *hint* And the Manual gear is so nice! *hint*
