The art was impressive; albeit not my style. Since I'm a liberal (so I'm told), I have to now reveal that I have some secondary education in the arts (so I'm told) and like our friend mentioned earlier, this education was enough to make me dislike a lot of the arts. Most of the Vatican included. The architecture I did enjoy. To the same end, however, the Hermitage is a very very impressive collection of art. Almost certainly the best Ive ever seen.

The Vatican made me physically ill to my stomach. All those riches and all that wealth while their "people" all over the world are struggling to feed the empire at 10% a week, and oftentimes can't afford clothes or food.

It's a proposal. Something to discuss. Seeing as they haven't released any budgetary or proposed costs, it's hard to say what it would involve. I doubt that there are enough community colleges to handle the load that it could create, but I wouldn't want to stifle conversation; would you?

If you fly commercial, you pay a tax. You benefit from it and you pay for it. If you ship a package Via an Air Carrier, you pay them and they pay a tax. You benefit from it and you pay for it. Otherwise, what you mention sounds sort of like socialism? Some people need it so everyone can use it for free? Isn't that redistribution of wealth? Isn't that how Scotty gets his third-hand Porsche from Iowa to Wisconsin to cheer on the State school he supports?

Funny, I just read that Brownbacks answer in Kansas is really not an answer at all, instead he is just delaying the situation. Pushing it back till next year. In his campaign ads he said he was going to "hit the accelerator on his agenda". He wasn't lying.

Kansas would not have had to cut if Brownback had any idea what he was doing. He said the tax cuts would spur job growth. He said small business and large business alike would hire more people. He said the population would spend more since they paid less income tax. They didnt. They pocketed the money. All of them. And so the children pay for it. Education cuts like never before. Child and family services cut. Retirement cuts. It's a train wreck.

An unarmed 18 year old human being was shot and killed because a police officer felt that a taser was uncomfortable. An unarmed man in NYC was choked to death by a gang of police for no apparent reason. The officer who's arm did the choking has previous racially motivated incidents on his record. Hell, even the 700 club moron said it was Police brutality. There's something wrong in this country. Maybe it's racial, maybe it's not. Maybe it's socioeconomic, maybe it's not. But the POLICE have killed 460 people this year. That's a problem. I can't imagine how you can think otherwise.

I had a 65 M20C. I did the runup at 1700, mainly. I usually used a couple pumps of the flaps on takeoff and full flaps on landing (one pump on downwind, one on base and the rest on final). Though I occasionally strayed from this as conditions warranted. I climbed out at WOT and prop full forward (2700RPM I believe) I would generaly climb around 500-700 depending on terrain ATC and my mood. I ran it WOT and 2500RPM in cruise. It was almost never square, and I really didn't care what it was. 2500 was a happy number and my prop/airframe was silly smooth and WOT was the fastest she went! I leaned aggressively.

Seriously? The man owns fitness clubs. I was calling out his overt modesty when he said he was in "decent shape." I'm sure his physical conditioning is much more than "decent."

No, Scott that's not judgement. It's factual. As TWinter confirmed, he's not in "decent" shape. He's ripped. If he wasn't ripped his BMI would make him obese, probably morbidly so.

Incidentally, if you are 5' 10 and 250lbs you can't be "in decent shape". You're either an NFL Linebacker with a bodybuilders physique or you're obese.
