  1. I think I heard it here actually. I do know it’s something the installer would set up, or maybe they can tell you/ look at the installation manual to set up.
  2. Don’t forget to get the “experimental” gear warning turned on. Mine is supposed to bark at me at 250’ AGL if they aren’t already down. Probably need to verify that one day. Preferably before it might be needed.
  3. Other than #5 & #6 being the last to peak, nothing odd with EGT’s. The GAMI sweep, pre-FineWires was right at .5gal, but keep the troubleshooting ideas coming. The oil cooling blockage is an interesting idea, the oil has about 20 hours on it, averages 185-190 in cruise, and looks clean. I’m due for a change by 25 hours on the oil.
  4. Pre baffle swap. Head scratcher is the engine has 50 hours on it.
  5. Ya, I’ve got all those pics and more. Nothing I can discern from those pics.
  6. They are a new GeeBee install by Maxwell. Found one bulge and cut it so it overlaps. They are good, now.
  7. The dent probably predates my ownership, but I’ll check the rest out. Thanks!
  8. As long as it makes it thru to December, I'll have it dealt with during the repaint then.... I'm more concerned with getting the #6 CHT down, which I can't figure out why it is a problem with the Cowl Flap on that side stuck open for so long....
  9. Red Boxes for EGT are a dime a dozen. Anyone seen, or know where to find one based on the TIT we use? Thanks!
  10. I’ve got an 80dF split between #5 & #6 cylinders. The left flap was jammed on a dent in the cowl and I managed to get it to close more, but not all the way. Any tips on how to adjust it?
  11. One of my worm gears was stripped
  12. One needs it. It’s not working. The other one is fine. However, Precise Flight wants them both at the same time and both are overhauled.
  13. Mine is $2k for the set. Electric version. You have to do both at the same time.
  14. Going with Speed Tape per Maxwell.
  15. If you need your SpeedBrakes overhauled, they advertise 7-10 Business Day turnaround. It’s been 10 and they say mine haven’t been touched. Plan accordingly. At least I can still fly it per Maxwell.
  16. I can’t even get Boca to answer.
  17. I heard from Milo last week. Only $1995/mo for a T-Hangar. Might be a bit before they fill those, at that price, I hope.
  18. My Baron and Twin Comanche buddies swear by Simple Green CITRUS only and only the CITRUS version. Has worked well on my oxidation so far.
  19. Gathering ideas for my fall paint project.
  20. My compliments to the Ovation? Scheme in particular.
  21. My guess is that people, me, are assuming that when they say $2k, it’s $2k per after you realize you have to send both. When in reality it looks like it’s $2k for the set, flat rate.
  22. I like your answer better, who did you talk to?
  23. As mine failed on my first flight picking the plane up from prebuy, after I paid for it of course, I'm used to not having them. So far I haven't needed them, but I've also stayed away from busy airspace.
  24. When I was looking, as intriguing as the Rocket line was, longer term support was a concern I had so the more units of a model available in my mission parameters the better. As a first time owner, after a long hiatus from GA making a living getting paid to fly jets instead, the fewer variables, the better for me. Probably should have hopped back in GA 5-6 years ago, with a 182. However, while the learning curve has been steep, many thanks to those here keeping it shallower, I'm really enjoying my Bravo.
  25. They look horrible! I'd be happy to take them off your hands to save you the shame of showing them off.
