  1. Now Air Power changed delivery again: Estimated Availability: 6/3/2025 Wonder if they do this to get "more" pre-orders. Have they delivered any V-Band Clamps from December as they "promised" or they just move delivery date forward?
  2. I have my dehumidifier connect to my Oil Filler (TSIO-360) and then from Oil Breather to a little box there I measure the humidity and then controll my Munther MG50 dehumidifier. I also blow in dry air in cockpit through the storm window. I use a shrinkable tubing (63mm) and then I heated it to fit my Oil Filler neck. Mostly I have 30% dry air in the engine all time.
  3. I guess GAMI has other priorities right now when their GAMI G100UL is under attack...
  4. Interested if working for a TSIO 360 SB!
  5. Mine ain't broken and in Europe we don't yet have the AD on the V-Band Clamp yet. I want to have one as backup and not be grounded when it's time.
  6. Airpower now moved delivery to July 2025... They promised 2 weeks back in October, they don't answer when I can expect delivery. Always says they will get back, but never does...
  7. I also has one on order since late October. When I first mailed them they said thay had 1pcs in stock, but suddenly when I placed my order it was sold... Then promised expected delivery in 2 weeks... Now they just move date forward... and non reply when the might get them in stock.
  8. If some has a spare set of those gauges, I’m interested. M20K 252
  9. Would be happy if we could have an complete guide how to manage engine on the 252 MB/SB Both LOP / ROP
  10. Have you tried to connect 24v to the motor directly and tested it ?
  11. I also have AUX tanks and when I have ~37 gallons in my main tank, around 10 gallons is flowing over to the Aux tank. So my Main Tank fuel meter says roughly 27 gal. In my POH for AUX tanks is says when you measure fuel level. 1/2" = 5 gal 2" = 10 gal 4" = 17 gal
  12. Agree, have it loop pointed towards tail too.
  13. I get different oil level readings depending what way my oil dip stick points. It differs 1qt Not sure why, but that confused me a bit before I always have oil dip stick at same direction now. What is the correct position?
  14. My TSIO-360-SB2 takes around 2-3 days after a flight before I can read the correct oil level. Last Oil/Filter change I filled with 7.5qt, and now it reads little above 6.5qt after some couple of hours of flight.
  15. Anyone that know the difference between 610243-003 vs 610243-001 and 610242-003 vs 610242-001. Is -001 a working substitute for -003 ?!
  16. I found the fuel transmitter behind the lower carpet panel. I could fold the panel gently to access it, it was done previously too... For a swap, I think a full removal of panel and seat is preferred to gain space and better access. I grounded outboard sender, so it's 0 Ohm. With 27 gallon in the tank, fuel gauge is almost full. So either the inboard gauge is more than 30ohm or the fuel gauge is not working as it should. When I grounded inboard sender, fuel gauge went down to zero. I think I've ruled out the fuel gauge as faulty. Will measure Ohm tomorrow on Inboard sender. Will order 2x 30Ohm Potentiometers, then I can quickly test the fuel gauge.
  17. Thanks, will check tomorrow. Are they easy to remove. Do I need to remove seats etc?
  18. Anyone has some good pictures or description how to access the inboard fuel senders? Also anyone that know the difference between 610243-003 vs 610243-001 and 610242-003 vs 610242-001.
  19. Is it possible to access the fuel senders (connection side) from any inspection panel? Or you need to open fuel tank ? My Left Fuel gauge is not working as it should.
  20. Plessy or Eaton spring?
  21. So if I want to order an V-Band Clamp for an TSIO-360SB is it part #653337 if I can find one or is it OK to get the superseded V-Band Clamp #670105 instead? Are both if found "legal" to use, or is there anything I need to check before ordering?
  22. Today I went to the hangar to see how the epoxy glue + carbon fiber weave went. Super strong, can't bend it... Tried with quite much force... Looks/Feels that Expoy/Carbon fiber weave bonded well with old plastic. Now I just need to find a good way to mount it back to the Alternator. For the moment, I used high heat silicon on one small part to attach it. But saw that there are 2 round holes. Where I think it would be possible to use Snap rubber grommet plugs, and then a screw or pin to attach/secure the cover instead of using silicon. Lasar.com want $450 for a new... If everything fails, then I buy a new one in future.
  23. I know, we'll see tomorrow how good it bonds. I've cleaned it with with IPA, and if it's delaminate I guess I have a carbon fiber shell :-) Did some test glue yesterday, on the black plastic. That bonded very well. White/Yellow plastic is different plastic material.
  24. What is the original part #? I have an #653344 alternator mounted, if the part # for the Cover is different? I guess the eppoy + carbon fiber weave will last forever. Sadly you can't see the carbon fiber pattern due to all the epoxy. Will take more pictures tomorrow when everything has dried. One of the tech's at Black Wing was willing to assist me to build a new one in carbon fiber. Would be fun, but think it's over kill.
  25. For the moment I gave it the epoxy + carbon fiber weave treatment. Good to have Black Wing manufacture as a neighbor :-)
