  1. Very nice William! Its great to see that plane getting some love!
  2. Does the link come with the appropriate STC paperwork?
  3. I had the same problem with Myrtle not long after my purchase. Replaced the circuit breaker and that solved the problem.
  4. Fortunately for me, I checked my calendar, and it isn’t going to be a conflict for me, but my buddy is going to have to cancel due to the change in date.
  5. It took a call to Garmin to sort out the issue…..Long story short….do not use the Garmin website to download the databases. The preferred way is to open up the Garmin Database Manager directly from your computer. When you use the website it leaves some trash files behind that eventually can cause problems.
  6. Actually, I have a GNX 375 and I am very happy that it is automatically cross-filled from my GTN650xi. If my 650 fails, the 375 already has the flight plan in it and takes over navigation in reversionary mode.
  7. Is anyone other than me having trouble with the Garmin updates not downloading properly ?? I have never had a problem until this months updates.
  8. I ordered one from Spruce shortly after the AD was issued….still waiting. They send an automated email occasionally to let me know that it is still on back order. Other than that, no joy.
  9. ^^^^^THIS^^^^^ I have the Bogert and could not ask for a better solution. I have never had an issue.
  10. Better in this case, may or may not actually exist. If you think something is better, it IS better for you, I get that. Perception = reality. I try to make my decisions based on data. Assuming fine wires are "better" what's the pay back? Increased fuel economy? More power? Better starts? Not being argumentative, just curious. Again, I am perfectly happy with my current performance, but I do try to use what I believe is "best".
  11. I have been running massives in Myrtle since I purchased her 4 years ago and almost 500 hours. I had all the plugs replaced at the last annual after a little over 800 hours. I have absolutely zero complaints. Starts on the 2nd or 3rd blade when cold and will run LOP so smoothly at 9.8gph that I have never felt the need to even try fine wires.
  12. Don Maxwell Aviation- Longview, TX KGGG That is probably a good place to start.
  13. Myrtle is in annual and it was discovered the fuel selector valve is leaking. LASAR no longer repairs this particular valve. Does anyone have a fuel selector valve available for the K model? Part # - 610289-001 Don Maxwell Aviation or Mooney do not have this part.
  14. I am signed up for Kentucky.
