  1. Do you have a photo of Accu-Trak Servo Control Valve?
  2. Nice install! Separately, blasting the the fuel pump helps to prevent the vapor lock. If you want to be fancy with your cooling, you can install a cooling shroud over the fuel pump (I did). Just prepare to dremel the shroud some to get it to sit down right. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/eppages/fuelpumps.php
  3. Good point! Which one do you use?
  4. Thank you! I know that Sunbrella is pretty good against UV radiation but does it provide good waterproofing? I want to make sure that my instruments stay dry because I don’t not have J. mod windshield.
  5. Hello, hive mind of the Mooney community. I really appreciate all the help you’ve given me over the years! I’m in Florida, and my old cover has finally dry-rotted and fallen apart. My main concern is rain - especially around the accessory panel area where water could sneak toward my center stack radios. I’m planning to make my own cover using the old cover as a template. I have an access to a heavy duty sewing machine. If anyone’s found a fabric that truly keeps the rain out, I’d love to hear what you’re using - thank you in advance!
  6. Hi Mooney Collective mind, Thank you for all of the support over the years and looking for some more advice on some cabin door issues on my 1967 M20F. First, the door arm attachment on the door has broken up. I’m trying to figure out my best options for repair or replacement. I’d especially like to hear if anyone has found a more modern or more durable solution than the original setup. Mooney Parts catalog listing 310077 (#52) which is not on Aircraft Spruce, but listed on the number of salvage places for $150-200. A few questions on that: Is this usually repaired, rebuilt, or just replaced? Are there any upgraded parts or aftermarket options that work better than stock? Has anyone fabricated a better attachment point or used a different arm arrangement altogether? Any gotchas, photos, or part numbers I should look at before digging into it? Second issue is separate: my outside door handle is missing the moisture-blocking flap. What are my options there? Is that flap available as a standalone part? Has anyone come up with a practical substitute or repair? Would appreciate any recommendations, photos, vendor suggestions, or lessons learned before I start throwing money at it. Thanks in advance.
  7. First off, I just want to say thank you to everyone on Mooneyspace for all the help over the years. I’ve learned a ton from this forum and it has saved me from making more than a few mistakes. I recently installed a JPI EDM-900 in my 1967 M20F, and I noticed that the unit tracks both tach time and Hobbs time. Up until now my airplane never had a Hobbs meter, so all of my engine logs only reference tach time and SMOH. The tach currently shows 1788.43, with ~932 hours SMOH. My question is: What should I program into the JPI for the Hobbs time? Should I just start Hobbs at 0, or try to estimate what it might have been historically? Also, does Hobbs really matter if all maintenance and logbook entries have historically been tracked using tach time? Curious what others have done in this situation. Thanks again for all the collective knowledge here.
  8. Unless we can use "owner produced" justification to say that the new item is a group buy that is "similar" to the diaphragm on vac- servo? The install will be completed with owner punching a center hole for the chain bolt. I got your POC from Kevin and will shoot you a txt this morning.
  9. What is the part number of sigma tek vacuum switch? Can't see the last numbers on the photo
  10. Yes, I called him. He was awesome, but not sure about the material and blueprint info.
  11. Do you know what material did they use? I can see it says "nitrile," but wondering if it was specific kind of nitrile? Do you have blueprint of the items? I'm about making a custom order as well.
  12. Perfect! I will look the weighing procedure in the SMM. From SMM:
  13. Bringing this thread from the dead because also planning on calibrating my new CIES fuel senders. How do you know when the airplane is leveled? Do I need to put a construction level inside the cabin floor to know that I'm leveled?
  14. Hopefully, we can get more people!
  15. To prevent the new sealant from clogging the drain holes on the sump.
