  1. Had the same issue with my 252. The shop ended up finding a leak from the fuel pump during the annual. Replaced it and never faced that problem again.
  2. That's really good! Mine was just under 900lbs. Thank you both, very useful info.
  3. I sold my 252 a couple of years ago and I'm now ready to go back into aircraft ownership. I've seen a couple of Bravos with all the bells & whistles e.g. low time engine, fiki and recent avionics, and I'm curious about what to expect in terms of flying, maintenance... vs. my previous bird. Thank you!
  4. I bought one from Jimmy a couple of years ago, all went well. Went to turboprop east for the testing but they couldn’t do the install.
  5. Amazing flight! Thank you for sharing. I've only managed to fly the Hudson in the daytime and the city lights seem to make it a completely different experience at night.
  6. Good point and so does the latest TBM. That could also be a great addition to our Mooneys although it might be more of a feel good feature than something used on a regular basis... and require a lot of work e.g. auto-braking.
  7. I've had a great experience with TurboProp East (at KAQW) but it was limited to swapping and testing the regulators on the O2 bottle. Someone also recommended C&L aero but it's on the West coast.
  8. I used that adapter too with EZtrends. The trick was to plug in the whole thing after opening EZtrends so that the correct port would be used. You then follow the EZtrends manual which I think asks you to press start once then do whatever you need to do on the 700 before pressing start again then step (I believe) on the 700 in order to start the DL.
  9. KX-165 NAV/COMM, 14 Volts with Glideslope. P/N: 069-1025-21 - 760 COMM channels. Display/lenses in excellent condition. Removed from a J for upgrade, working perfectly when removed. Does not include tray or connectors. $1,250 with free shipping to lower 48.
  10. @Boilermonkey Looking at the part number, it seems the Ks have the same system so perhaps you could find one on a salvaged 231/252.
  11. I'm sure the G1000 owners will be more helpful on that topic but I believe a WAAS upgrade (if needed) is very expensive, if available at all for the early models.
  12. I bought this one when I had my GNS480, it was working well. It can be useful to make a clone of the CF card in case anything happens to it.
  13. Funny enough I was offered exactly that trade when selling the 252.
  14. Sure. UL is 840lbs from what I remember and it can be increased by an extra 230lbs with the Encore conversion. Fuel tanks: 78.6 US gal (3 of which unusable).
