I installed the griggs bladders in my E earlier this year, then got sent on a work trip so no review as of yet. They are a little pricey but it is what it is. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions and if i can answerthem i will. Griggs was pretty easy and available for all the questions I had.

Hopefully it's all set up and passangers knew. I see the humor but Not funny in my opinion with passangers that may have been turned off completely to GA due to this prank. I feel like the GA community is an aging fleet not just the aircraft and not being backfilled appropriately. An enjoyable flight might be what anyone of the passengers needed to be like you know maybe "I would like to do this". GA needs allies more than people indifferent to it or that despise it. If I recall the video correctly they mentioned Santa Monica, not that it matters now decision is made but come 2029 that's 1 less option in a real engine trouble situation in that area. Mainly because people don't want GA around and the land is more profitable sold off as parcels than an airport. I feel videos like this or trevor jacob hurt our minority community more than the cheap laugh on YouTube is worth. There's more to my opinion but I'll leave it at that.

Nose wheel and spindle need to be removed

This is the one I replaced mine with. Also rather than having to have someone in the tail holding/running down the nuts. I fabricated a ring with nut plates so it's just a screwdriver

I just got one back up in the air after being in a hangar for 10 years a few months back for my buddy we both got checked out in it, and have another friend that has one. It's 5-8 knots faster than my E but its burning 3-4-5 gph more. They fly great in my opinion. I dislike the hand brake on the earlier models(which is my only experience in them) but theres an stc for that. I love my Mooney but wouldn't turn one down. I have free rein to fly it whenever I'd like. Gross is a couple hundred lbs more with tip tanks.

Anyone have an interest in these? I bought them a couple years ago now but went with bladders instead of reseal, so they are of no use to me anymore. Have them posted in classifieds but figured I would post here in the group that would be most interested. PM
