The wife just got pregnant and we are looking at taking a four day weekend in early October . With Zika all over the south seems like that would be a bad idea so I am looking off to the north . We would like it to be within about 4.5-5 hours from KLBL in the 231 . Any ideas . Not California please .

That's how mine failed on my 84 231. All at once , working good on the last flight then just nothing . The bad news is the vacuum pod is where the leak is usually and I have been looking for a pod for almost a year . The vacuum pod is made by Britten industry's in Oklahoma if you need the contact info just drop me a pm . The Inter cooler is stc'd but it does not give me a new chart it just says to decrease MP by .5 inch for every 10 degrees of Cooling . So I took that to mean use the chart on the visor and then subtract .5 inch of mp for every 10 degrees of cooling . Just for clarification the STC is what they put in the POH ? My understanding is that you get the mp and fuel flow off the visor then you have to subtract .5 inch for every 10 degrees it's cooling . Am I reading my supplement wrong in my POH? On Saturday we went over to ADA Oklahoma for my wife's grandfathers 84th birthday . Made his day that we flew in. All his grandchildren showed up but one . Man down in that heat and humidity that plane climbs kinda slow . Always seems like a pig down low . I included a few generic pictures . So I am looking for some Input . I have a 231k with an Intercooler. The Intercooler was cooling 60 degrees witch let's me drop my mp an additional 3 inches so on my last trip I was running 26 mp and leaned it out 50 LOP on the TIT . This is how your supposed to run it? My fuel flow was almost all the way down to 8.2 gallons an hour . That seems a little low but what do I know . But all my temps were good . Does this sound like it's right? Can somebody even tell me what info I need to be keeping track of? I have been reading some articals on this stuff and just making sure I am on the right track. Let me know if I need to move this to anouther thread please .

Guess I should have tried to remove it and download it from the cloud before asking a question . It's all fixed

Anybody else having trouble getting winds aloft on fore flight? been having this problom for a couple of days.
