  1. How much for the oil temp?
  2. yeah man! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Now that I read this, airplane specific sounds like I meant a Mooney Tire gauge, I just meant aviation specific. Thanks for the tip. Which gauge do you use?
  4. Hello all, I seem to be having some issues with getting a good tire pressure reading. It seems my nice auto tire gauge will not reach the stem inside my tube valve, is this normal? Do I need an airplane specific tire gauge? My A&P didn’t seem to have an issue with his gauge. What am I missing here? Thanks!
  5. Halls is great but Rarebit, Oak, High cotten, Coast, FIG, Husk, Poogins Poarch, and Basil are all pretty damn good. My plane is a couple doors down, but the one at Landmark is pretty damn nice. Going to Sun-N-Fun?
  6. I flew through some pretty good rain a few weeks ago and seemed to get some water drops on the top of my comm panel. Water and electricity obviously don't mix. Any suggestions of how I can tighten up the "water tightness" on my avionics access panels?
  7. I just got a door seal in a couple weeks ago from ADS. If I can return it, I will take one. I will let you know soon! Woohoo!
  8. Most jets are required to use Nitrogen. I do have a couple friends who have their own nitrogen bottle for their tires. Supposed to be more stable, seaps less.
  9. What tire pressure do you fill your tires? Does the temp change dictate what you look for? How about weight? How often do you gauge it and not just kick it? Nitrogen or air? Favorite brands?
  10. Did it fit properly to the buss bar? I'm getting conflicting info on the size to use.
  11. Not sure what you mean by the Tyco not being PMA'd. Notar is talking about the LED's which are not. Are you talking about the Tyco circuit breaker? I beleive they are PMA'd as they are listed as original replacment for Cessna, Beach, and piper aircraft.
  12. Wood burning kit
  13. Do you remember the part number? I have been looking at the difference between the Peerlesse, Klixon, and Tyco. They all seem to be very very close in dimensions.
  14. Would something like this work? http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/pbcircuitbrkr2.php
