  1. I didn't keep your mailing address after I sent you the last contribution. If you'll send it to me again, I'll drop you a $50 bill next week when i'm in the USA. Rocky
  2. Thanks for the details José. I'm looking forward to learning how to use it. Muy amable. Saludos, Rocky
  3. they decided to accept my Mexican VISA card and shipped the meter to me today for delivery next week. Tell me something....what kind of power source does it use? i.e. 120v, 12v, 9v, AAA, AA, etc., etc.
  4. My wife insists that "it is the right thing to do" and I don't argue with her. Therefore when we sump the tanks we pour the sumped fuel (be it ever so small) back into the tank from which it was taken rather than throw it on the tarmac.. While the cap is off, we dip the tanks. A quick and easy thing to do in reality, eh?
  5. Just called them to place my order. Since my card billing address is in Mexico and I want them to ship it to Denver, they aren't certain they'll be able to fill my order. Said they'd check with the cc company and get back to me. Thanks for turning me on to this. Sounds like a piece of equipment that all of us could benefit from having--and at a reasonable price too. Saludos, rocky
  6. The problem is effecting both radios. I live in a small town in Mexico where we have no avionics techs and no test equipment.
  7. Am having difficulty determining the problem with my radios and intercom diminished performance with altitude and/or distance from ATC and am wanting to verify antenne performance or lack there of. i.e. antenna, antenna ground, etc. Radios were working fine until a radio tech installed an av panel. Ever since, several other techs have been unable to find the problem even though coax connectors have been replaced. It seems to be an antenna problem (or cables,, etc. going to the antennae. How can I verify antennas are working well or not? Rocky
  8. Good idea! Thanks. Rocky
  9. What size hose fits over the oil quick drain on my M20B? Rocky
  10. Since installing my 8 new Tempest fine wires, I have flown about 15 hours to include about 10 TO's. Can't say enough good things about the performance. Being a person who thrives on objective data, I'm afraid I have none to justify my feelings, but, my bird literally "jumps off of the runway" now. If she did before, I don't remember it. Her performance amazes me. I would unconditionally recommend these plugs to anyone. To heck with the cost. What does the cost really matter to any of us anyway, eh? I am truly amazed. Rocky
  11. I am in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. If its the intercom, why would we replace the audio panel? I only have a 1" tray. My existing audio panel was installed new only 4 months ago. R
  12. Interesting Bill, Mine seems to work, but the volume is VERY low. Any ideas? Rocky
  13. Well, verifying the existence of a good audio ground and headset plugs ground is a good starting point for me to troubleshoot. Thanks for the detailed input. Rocky
