PMcClure Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 The little button cover that goes on the pilot mic button is missing on the pilot side. After a long flight, it gets uncomfortable pushing the mic. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? Quote
Cris Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 Radio shack carries many switches. You only need to find one that has a button which can be removed. Alternatively that button is probably on the floor someplace. Taking the seats out may allow you to find it. A bit of silicon will keep it in place. Mine pops off all the time and I have to do the silicone trick myself if only I could remember. LOL Quote

jetdriven Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 I bought that for my J and it was too small for the 1/4" hole in the yoke. I replaced the old one with a MPA-103F04 from Spruce. it has the detent but it is not very apparent. Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 I just put that page up because it has the caps on it if you scroll down. They are only $1 so not a big deal if they are not the correct ones. It is the switch on my 77 J. I don't have a parts manual for the R. Quote
PMcClure Posted August 21, 2013 Author Report Posted August 21, 2013 Thank you. I think that is it! Quote
