Parker_Woodruff Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Any way to get a link posted on the forum to open in a new window or tab instead of the current window without having to right click? Would make it really convenient if something interesting is posted. Quote
Carl S Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Try using the Target=_blank option when you add the link. If the forums supports html then writing it would look something like this: (edit) <@ href="http://picasaweb.google.com/n223mm/N223MM#5350136815695072994" target="_blank">161 TAS @ 9500 Replace @ and /@ with an a and /a. I only out this in because the software IS recognizing it and creating a link out of "target=..." (end edit) Here is what it looks like with the pop up box method. Notice that it does not keep my prefered "Title" of "161 TAS @ 9500" http://picasaweb.google.com/n223mm/N223MM#5350136815695072994 That could be a bug in the forum software or an operator error - not sure at this point. Either way - it does open a new browser window in IE7. Quote
Carl S Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 It should look like this for the example above. Quote
mooniac58 Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 For all sites you can usually hold down Ctrl key to open the link in a new window or tab. Quote
