rocketman Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 On my 1980 231 I have noticed that intermittently not always) when the elevator trim switch is turned on during start up procedures, a warning horn goes off and stays on as long as this switch is in the on position. The plane flies fine, the KFC 200 autopilot is fine, the elevator trim operates well, it just that the horn won't go off until the switch is turned off. I think it might be the landing gear warning horn blaring but I'm not sure. Any ideas? Rocketman Quote
Skywarrior Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Not an electrician, but it sounds like worn wires, touching other worn wires, or touching a terminal. Quote
