If you are at Oshkosh this year, we will be in Hangar B, booth 2136 and 2137. We have an excellent inventory of Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) LED and HID lighting. In addition to WAT products, we also have SwitcheOn remote power switches, and BatteryMinder battery maintainers. If you can’t make it, that’s okay too and our website will have these promotions running too. Some of these promotions are good through Sunday, July 30th while some others run through Sunday, August 7th.

WAT is running a 10% off promotion on LED and HID lighting. That includes all LED beacon lights, the G3 LED landing and taxi lights, Orion LED wingtip and tail lights, the new Mooney LED recognition light, and much more! Lights are on sale through Sunday, August 7th.

BatteryMinder is running a 10% off promotion on all models of its battery maintainers along with accessories. This is good through Sunday, August 7th.

SwitcheOn is running a 20% off promotion on its remote power switches and that promotion is good through Sunday, July 30th.

BrightLine pilot bas are running a 20% off promotion on all bags and accessories. If you order from the website I can’t ship them until after the show. This promotion is good through Sunday, July 30th too.

If you have questions about what you need for your aircraft, please email me. If you call, I’ll try to answer but if I don’t, please leave a voice mail and I’ll call you back.

For a 67 F model Mooney with a belly pan beacon, wingtip lights, a landing light, a tail light, and an interior light, which of these products are replacements that don’t require modified wiring or additional controllers or power supplies?  I haven’t take the time to study them.  My plane has aftermarket wingtips and a one piece belly pan.  Thanks.

None of these lights require you to add power supplies because once you apply 14 volts direct current (VDC) they will work. So if you have a strobe power supply, it needs to come out and that strobe power wire requires reconnecting in order for it to get 14 VDC. For a belly pan beacon, any 14V beacon with the bell shaped 3.75" base is a drop in replacement. Photos below.

Good links to these beacons are:

I said Sunday "August 7th" but seeing as I can't get my dates right, I will honor the Whelen promotion through today, August 7th. I have also extended the BatteryMinder promotion through the end of the month.
