PhateX1337 Posted June 14, 2023 Report Posted June 14, 2023 Recently moved to CA - based in Modesto at KMOD. I'm looking to learn more about my Mooney Bravo & engine specifically. Hoping to work with an A&P one day (happy to pay!) to learn how to do a few more things myself ... oil change, spark plug remove/replace & use of borescope, remove/clean/regrease/replace speed brakes, identify engine monitor leads/which cylinder has the analog primary gauge, etc. etc. Nothing crazy hard/complex. I've read & watched a lot of videos, but would feel more comfortable doing it the first time with someone who knows what they're doing! If you know anyone - let me know, I'm happy to fly to meet someone for a day as well. Thanks! Quote

Then dig in under their guidance. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions. Quote

OR75 Posted June 17, 2023 Report Posted June 17, 2023 In KLVK and my annual is due in February. A way away but if you want to come help then , I can always use another pair of hands. I expect to have to change the brake pads and repack the bearings. The rest will be mostly around the engine, opening and closing panels, gear cycling. 1 Quote
