mooneygirl Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Hello Fellow Mooney LoversWe are getting the word out on another Mooney Ambassador event coming up at Jackson/Westover [O70] on October 3rd. Why not mark your calendar for this fun event and join us in supporting the best airplane in the World! http://secure.edexis.com/wingsandwheels/Wings%20and%20wheels%202009%20info.jpgWhat is the Mooney Ambassador group? Simply put, we fly to events such as display days, fly-ins, airport days and the like to display our aircraft, meet the public and support our Mooney Airplane Company. As Ambassadors we can introduce the public to Mooney airplanes from all eras, and in this way we can support our company. And who needs to mention that we as owners get to fly somewhere very fun, and socialize with other Moonicacs. We recently had an event at South Lake Tahoe California. We had thirteen Mooneys participate and six of those flew in the airshow! Wayne Fischer from Mooney Airplane Company was able to attend the Tahoe event.Consider Joining Us! If you would like to attend, please drop me an email so that I can develop a list of attendees.Look forward to seeing you at Jackson/Westover October 3rd!Jolie LucasJolielucas@charter.netN6619U 1965 M20E Super 21N211MJ 1994 Ovation Quote
MooneyMitch Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Chris Floyd and I will have our Mooneys on display at Jackson/Westover, as Mooney Ambassadors, if you want to check out our paint jobs. I think you will be impressed by the work performed by the folks at ArtCraft. Hope to see you there. Quote
KSMooniac Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 I wish y'all could move one of these events a few states to the east sometime. Quote
mooneygirl Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 That is a good point and something I was just talking with Mitch about. The Mooney Ambassadors idea is a simple one. Find out where events are going on, and fly there and display with your company. If a Mooney rep is not available, then we as owners do our best to represent. I was telling Mitch that we need a point person for the mid-west and the east coast. The Mooney Ambassadors doesn't have dues, or a board, or a website. We are owners who want to support our company in these trying financial times. The only real commitment is to fly your plane to the events and perhaps have a display card and talk with the public. If you would like more information, or would like to talk further about events in your area, drop me an email. All the best! Quote
