joepilotmooney Posted August 9, 2022 Report Posted August 9, 2022 All, Just got out of annual, and while the AP wasn't touched, when I test flew and turned the Century 2B on, after 2 seconds of sitting there, it commenced a sharp turn opposite of where it was supposed to turn (wing level mode). Then on heading mode, same thing happened. And it was a steep turn - had to disengage the AP. Any ideas from anyone? It's been working just fine up until now.
N201MKTurbo Posted August 9, 2022 Report Posted August 9, 2022 I would test it on the ground. Put it in wing leveler mode and crank the roll knob left and right. The yokes should follow. If it only goes one way, check the servo connector in the wing.
OR75 Posted August 11, 2022 Report Posted August 11, 2022 I would make sure the console is seated properly. The case in which the console is housed is not very well made and the connection sometimes get loose.
