Wildhorsetrail Posted July 11, 2022 Report Posted July 11, 2022 I had a skybeacon installed on an older Cessna that didn't have strobes, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not. On my J model, the unmodified wingtip has normal strobe light. On the wingtip with the skybeacon, I have a flashing white light, but not of the intensity of a strobe. Is that how these things are supposed to work? Quote

I think that pretty much sums it up, I have a couple of Aeroled wing tip lights, and they aren’t nearly as intense as my Whelen strobes on my Cessna, or whatever is on my 81 J model either Quote
