Yetti Posted June 29, 2022 Report Posted June 29, 2022 I can tell you that there are three different alternator brackets. Mine needs "shims" to make it line up. It is possible to install the bracket backwards. The Lycoming engine manual has all the information. If it went to the rebuilder with a bracket. I would expect the bracket back.
