Jackshaft Assy, Elevator 710008-000

Hi and a happy new year!

I am preparing everything for 100h inspection starting next week.

There is some play in the elevator controls. It seems to be at the Jackshaft Assy. The parts manual only shows there bolts, washers and nuts. Nothing about a bearing. On the attached picture it looks like a bearing??

Want to be sure that I have all parts before disassembling. Any experience?

Mooney traditionally didn’t break it down to the bearing part number.  If you clean the bearing carefully you will likely see the manufacturers part number.

You should be able to press out the old bearing and press in a new one.

I thought there was a parts portal where service centers could look up sub assy parts numbers.

Might be a RBC PN3A which Mooney uses on ailerons. I think flaps are PN4A.

There are also needle bearings B47, same as for elevator and rudder bellcrank.
