I just bought into a share of a Mooney M20B, and would greatly appreciate any recommendations for an instructor in South Florida (I live in Key West) that's well versed in the vintage Mooneys.  Looking forward to learning more about these machines!

I'm semi-rusty, with a couple years since I've been in a plane and that was a Piper Warrior that I owned.  I've only flown a couple hundred hours in the last decade of flying but I have somewhere around 1500 TT.  I've got instrument and commercial ratings and also expired CFI and CFII, but my ratings make me look like a better pilot than I am.  I am really hoping to find someone that can do an intensive few days or week to get me back in the groove and teach me the intricacies of Mooney flying.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It depends on the day. I'll be in Texas and other states a lot in March. Next week I'll be close while I'm in Havana. I do not have a hole in my schedule until after SunNFun in April however.

Thanks for replies!  Greatly appreciated!

Mike, I will probably try to catch up with you for pointers post-SunNFun.  Let me know how far in advance I would need to book time with you.  In the meantime, I think I will fly with a local instructor that has some decent Mooney time and then I can easily fly around the state to catch up with a Mooney Master instructor.
