tim Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 In my 1991 MSE the Hoskins FT101 is erratic. Sometimes it shows correct flow and then it goes to all zero's. Any suggestions? Quote

fantom Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Hoskins is no longer supported. If you want to buy a perfect Shadin Mini Flo original equipment fuel totalizer from my 1994 just PM me, because I'd like to get a JPI 830 :-) Quote
Piloto Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 I had exactly the same problem. The cause is fuel sediment at the transducer rotor. You can clean the rotor by spraying carburator cleaner through the inlet and oulet ports untill is flooded. Let it stand for several hours to dissolve the sediment. Spray again to purge the sediment. Blow air by mouth into the transducer, you should hear the whinning of the rotor. It will be good for another 1000 hours. José Quote
