Who would spring for a RAM overhaul and then let it rot? What were the compelling reasons to scrap the plane vs. getting it back in the air?

That being said Its a Ram engine , Nickel cylinders , so no real rust issues in the cylinders...May test cell it , if I don't get any real good offers from my core buyers....
