Yoke mounted push to talk?

I have a 65 M20C and for a future upgrade it would be nice to have a push to talk switch integrated in the yoke. Is this possible and how much does it cost. Right now I have the strap on style and they are ok but they do bug me a bit. Ultimately I want a wireless headset with anr and Bluetooth to my phone and a push to talk button on the yoke. Yeah I know it's a lot to ask for.

I used to own 1966 M20C and added a PTT switch to the yoke. I pulled out the pneumatic PC button on the yoke and replaced it with a PTT switch for the COMs. For the PC wing leveler I installed a panel mount pneumatic switch. It work out pretty well.

A previous owner added a STEC electric trim to my '66E back in 1997. I suppose the PTT was added at the same time. Not particularly attractive but very functional. Note there's also an A/P disengage above the clock.

 

I added a PTT to the co-pilot yoke when I redid my panel a couple of years ago. Again just functional, not elegant.

That sounds perfect because I keep pressing the PC button thinking it is a ptt. How much work was all of that and how did the wiring work out? I would like to plug my headset into the panel and not deal with extra cables coiled around the yoke like I have now.

Thanks. I guess I want a button integrated into the yoke. I like the PC button idea the best right now as that sounds pretty doable.

Nice panel. I really like the glass and engine monitor.

It involves soldering 2 wires to the back side of the mic jack and routing them up through the control shaft. Then attach them to a normally open momentary switch.

I've had STEC A/Ps for a long time but I remember the Mooney full time wing leveler fondly. If you don't have a A/P I think you'll miss that pneumatic disengage button.
