Any Mooney expert A&Ps near Santa Barbara, CA?

I might be needing to do a pre buy inspection on a M20F that is located at Santa Barbara. The weird thing is, because this plane is a bank repo sale, it can't leave the field like might be normal for a pre buy. It has to be done there, but there's a shop that is willing to accomodate. Anybody know of anyone?

I know that plane! It's tied down at Atlantic in Santa Barbara.  As far as mechanics go Stratman Aviation on the field is pretty good.  I'm not sure how much Mooney experience he has but he's been very helpful the couple of times I've brought my plane in for minor stuff.  You could also talk to Ray's Aviation in Santa Paula, he has some Mooney experience and he's pretty close to Santa Barbara.

Rob Riter is an IA out of TOA.  He handle maintenance and annuals on my Mooney and did a prebuy for me on a plane I passed on.  He owned an M20C for years and it quite the enthusiast.  He'd likely do it but ask you to pay fuel for his round trip from TOA.  RMRiter@aol.com, (310) 614-0759

Good luck with the pre-buy! If you want to go for a flight when you're in Santa Barbara let me know, I'm always looking for an excuse to go up. If you want any more pictures of the plane or anything, it's tied down like 20 feet away from where I keep mine.
