  1. Here is a Mooney video of a flight to Propriano:
  2. Very nice, seems you enjoyed your trip as much as we did! Here is a video of our visit to this beautiful island:
  3. We’ve been to Palermo as well and almost two years after our trip finally the video is out: Bocca di Falco
  4. No, I've never worked with Troyes. Of the two I mentioned I only know ACG out of personal experience.
  5. Troyes Aviation (LFQB, France) and ACG (EDFQ, Germany) are two very well regarded MSCs. The latter I can recommend very much from personal experience. Both are not in Southern France or Italy, though.
  6. Ah, got it. I don't instruct in my plane. Maybe you can find an FI that is willing to travel. I would be tempted to do that but it's a bit trick currently.
  7. still a bit confused. You mean, you would fly your plane to either Ibra's or my base to get the training?
  8. Ah, sorry, in this case I got it wrong. But yes, I'm an EASA FI(A). I'm based in the Southwest of Germany if this helps.
  9. Westflug in Aachen, Germany offer two 20Js for rent/training. Don't know how practical that is for you, depends on your location, of course.
  10. I just talked to the responsible board member. He said, it should never take longer than a week or two. However, they had a change in their IT system. He was not aware of any lost messages but you may want to try once again.
  11. Simply enter the respective station's position in the unit you have selected in your global settings, i.e. either inches or centimetres. I struggle to understand your second question. You can have as many aircraft of the same type in your data base as you like, e.g. with different empty weight, fuel capacity or what ever. Just assign a different name, e.g. the tail number of the aircraft. SkyDemon is a European product probably not known to most US pilots which form the majority here. You may want to address questions very specific to Europe and not specific to Mooney in a European forum like EuroGA or even the SW vendor's forum in this case.
  12. They came back to me. Apparently the guy who is responsible is very busy currently, but he will process his backlog in the next days.
  13. I've pointed two board members of EMPOA to this thread.
  14. Would you add me as well? My location is a bit off the beaten path but maybe one day it'll be useful for members visiting Europe...
  15. Six at our field, EDFM. Our 252, a 205, an F, a Bravo, an Ovation and one more 252 which sadly has been sitting for years.
  16. It's on its way! We had to wait for two balance weights for several weeks, but now they've been delivered.
  17. This one is for sale in Portugal: http://www.planecheck.com/index.asp?ent=da&id=41013&cor=y But it might already be sold.
  18. Yes, we took this route: We took the northern route towards the west and the route via the Azores on the way back. A report is here: https://www.euroga.org/forums/trips-airports/9174-to-the-end-of-the-world-and-back-the-whole-story#post_176978
  19. Maybe @Urs_Wildermuthwill know? He is Swiss as well.
  20. Yes, I read about the “Honey Mooney”, but it’s been a while... Are they still flying? Or maybe they’re even on Mooneyspace?
  21. Thank you all! Unfortunately our engine won't run LOP. We have GAMIjectors but even though we've been with GAMI in Ada and I flew with one of their engineers, we couldn't get it fixed. Therefore we have to fly ROP. At 2200RPM I throttle back to 65% and lean to stay below 380F with the hottest cylinder (usually #5). Up in the low flight levels (180, 190) she makes about 165kt TAS or a little more. Depending on OAT, FF is about 9.5 GPH for the colder regions. We had to set a considerably greater FF when we flew that high and it was very hot e.g. in Bolivia.
  22. Thank you! There are tons of pictures in the reports, just click the link. Besides the fb page (here) we made a few videos, e.g. this. BTW, this trip would not have been possible without the Monroy tanks ;-) THX
  23. We flew our 252 from Germany to the southern most tip of South America and back again between September 17 and March 18. This was our route: Many may have heard about our trip via fb, but anyway, maybe there are members here who haven't and are interested in a report. I've written continuously on a European GA forum, here is the link: https://www.euroga.org/forums/trips-airports/9174-to-the-end-of-the-world-and-back-the-whole-story#post_176978 (I hope it's OK to post a link to another forum here)
  24. Thanks! We moved well inland. Our Mooney is in a hangar in KDNN, Georgia now. No Hurricans over in Europe, but I think we ran into one big time!
  25. Hi Clarence, yes, you're right, we bought her a little over five years ago. It's already the second time we flew her to the US. BTW Karl-Heinz has a Malibu now and he is currently on a RTW trip! Gunter
