  1. Quote: fantom One of the biggest mistakes, IMO, that the Mooney bosses have made, is charging out the wazoo for any and all retrofits. In this economy, and moreover, with their lack of business, it makes no sense.
  2. Aircraft Spruce or any supply store should have them.
  3. Quote: DaV8or So I guess there's an indicator of some sort somewhere to tell you how many degrees of flaps you have in and you just pump the handle back and forth like a car jack until you get what you need? How many stokes of the handle gets you to full flaps?
  4. Quote: HRM Hi Mark, Can you post some photos of your interior? From my round of questions to Jim, I finally realized that he has a J that is 10 years junior to my E, duh . For example, it looks like his baggage door is royalite where mine is carpet covered. Your plane is a bit closer in size and age to mine. Harley
  5. I removed the plastic and used Bondo, then SEM specialty paints. Very nice results. Removing the interior is a pain/education, took eight hours to get it out, a week to paint everything at night and a weekend to reassemble with new screws.
  6. Tech left the master on when doing my static check. Totally run down. I have it on a BatteryMinder at 4A. Anything else I can do to resucitate it? Fluid levels are fine.
  7. Quote: ErickR I am looking for an AH for my m20b, do I need to get an 8 degree tilt? I assume my panel would be the same as any m20c model.
  8. It looks like the AH I have is off by eight degrees. Is this something an instrument shop can adjust or does it need to be replaced by a new AH with the eight degree offset?
  9. Anyone know what the pin outs are for a Garwin oil temp gauge? 1967 C. The wires into the gauge cluster appear fine. I want to test the output before I blow money o/h'ing the gauge. Also, are the probes available anywhere? P/N is AN5525-1 but can't find one at the usual places.
  10. I have had the traditional G-35 and found that keeping it well charged and conditioned is the best defense against it leak all over. Mine is 2.5 years old and still going strong. I keep it on a charger when not flying.
