  1. It is mounted on the front of the control wheel, left side.
  2. Getting readt for a Garmin upgrade to include (2) 275s and the 500 Autopilot, trying to figure out my control wheel layout, this is what I'm thinking, what do you all have? Also thinking of what else I can incorporate into the control wheel on the right side, I have an altitude call out that I am thinking of putting a switch to disable the audio on the right side of the control wheel...thoughts? TIA
  3. Thanks, sorry, it is a 1966 m20e
  4. Have you considered taking to a good electric shop, I've heard that they can rebuild them if the motor has gone out?
  5. Anyone have a lead on these, understand that there may be better ones out there than the originals? For 1966 M20E Thanks, Matt
  6. Mine are good (FOR NOW) just know that eventually they will need to be replaced and I don't want an AOG if I don't have to and don't want to pay $6K for a used gear motor where the gears may/may not be bad..I'm waiting to hear back from Mooney...the support staff (Frank) has been great, but it's the management that's not in touch with the issues.
  7. Anyone have one of these, Called 11 Mooney Service Centers and they don't have them, can't order them and Mooney isn't currently making them yet there is a reoccurring AD. Thanks, Matt
  8. You could install a Surefly Electronic Magneto to get rid of the SOS and not have to worry about it.

  14. Anyone have any info on the stripper machine, looking at doing this but if there's a machine or plans for one I would be interested, saw a picture of a copper stand with multi directional spray heads but no info
  15. Anyone have any information on this, dimensions, part numbers, etc. I can't find the original thread, it is used, as I understand it, to spray the solvent into the fuel cell when removing the sealant. TIA
  16. You may want to move your annual up to make sure that it doesn't inadvertently cause you to lose your paint slot, and you don't want them to do the annual after paint.
  17. Received this picture from one of the members, he believes it may have come from this page, if anyone knows the part numbers for the switches, please let me know...looking to replace the original ignition key switch. TIA
  18. Spoke with them a couple weeks ago, anticipate 6-12 more months before decision letter from FAA, barring any delays...they won't know which models will be covered until they receive the decision letter...I'm not expecting they will get anything inside of 18-24 months, if that...hopefully I'm wrong but I'm not willing to wait any longer...would love Dynon, but looks like Garmin
  19. Can you not remove the horn from the shaft and replace it with the newer horn?
  20. Could you not have just removed the Horn from the shaft and put the new horn on the old shaft?
