  4. Ok, what do you mean by a "quart of the original roll on"?
  5. I had a leak on the upper side of the wing, so the first third of the material has already come off. I was thinking of taking it all off and then putting the brush on product on
  6. I had recalled seeing a thread on this, but I couldn't find it. What is the brand everyone is using for the brush on product. And are you happy with it that vs the glue down rolled product, TY

  16. So I just got back from annual and we put a 1.5" x 5" cut out in the sheep metal in front of the #5 cylinder behind the alternator. This reduced the operating temperature of #5 by 40-45°! Now the #2 is running the hottest. I just replaced the baffling, so i'm wondering any other ideas on how to bring it down. It's ~365° in cruise but 35° hotter then the rest.
  17. Don't reduce power, that reduces fuel flow and adds to the problem
  18. I second the quality, integrity and knowledge of your provider. This is my 16th plane and trust me I have been all over this country getting annuals and when you find a shop that you can trust, stick with them, and yes, bring pizza..
  19. Yep, its been done many a time
  20. Agreed with all of that
  21. An interesting data point from SW FL. 18 months ago Paige Field in Ft Myers, FL had 229 people on the hangar wait lists. Today that number sits at 25. They built 20 new T-hangars but that doesn't account for this dramatic drop in demand.
  22. Open air hangar available at KFMY for $100/mo
