  1. It seems the only having done it so far had to get two then thx for the replies
  2. Hi all, Has anyone connected an OAT single probe to a G5 and GI275 EIS? My history is an initial install of a dual G5 + OAT a while back and recently got the GI275 EIS added in. I realised that the %age power indicator works with an OAT added in. My question is whether the already installed OAT connected to the G5s couldn't also feed the GI275 EIS? Does that make sense? Thanks for your input. F.
  3. It is hard to say as prior to having the GI275 EIS which visually and orally tells you as soon as you get below 60PSI, I had the standard gauge bar and never really noticed variation. I am hoping it is just a sensitivity issue and a slightly higher pressure by 5 or 8 PSI will suffice to keep it in the green. Will keep you posted.
  4. I went to see my mechanics. We'll do the adjustment to to increase the base oil pressure with that screw mentioned above.
  5. Yes, I do reduce power. Throttle back.
  6. I’ll go run some test end of week and will report back more precise observations. will keep you posted. thanks for quick responses.
  7. in cruise, it is at 65-68.
  8. Hi all, I recently got a GI275 EIS installed. I noticed that my oil pressure moves into the Yellow range (just below 60) during some stages of flights (descent), and wondered if that was normal. It is noticeable as the GI275 fires warnings as soon as it moves below 60 and I can't say that I noticed that before with the (quiet) steam gauges. Thank you all. F.
  9. Is there an stc for these? Where can they be sourced? thx
  10. What is going to be the added weight of the bladder installation?
  11. Hi all, I stumbled on this old thread and thought I'd supplement with a video of me taking off from a 650m (2100feet) runway at MTOW, 3 POB. the 50feet clearance is pretty good too. YouTube video
  12. engine mount issue, wouldn't that be replicable on the ground during power up checks relatively easily?
  13. Thank you for your reply. Was that also in the approach / landing phases with issu when you added power back?
  14. I would say it starts at 1800rpm. within the yellow arc but doesn't stop going above.
  15. Hello to you all, I have been having issues with my M20J the past few weeks whilst coming in to land. Following eventless flights, after setting the plane for landing on reduced power, I have a vibration appearing when adding power. It happened twice on the circuit pattern, and once on the runway after landing, adding power to taxi back. I don't have a modern engine monitor, just the basic stuff and all seemed in the green. I have not been able to replicate the issue on the ground from starting up the engine. It seems to happen after a flight out and back, engine hot somehow. I recently got a G5+GFC500 setup installed during the annual. The issue appeared after that and not sure if there is a coincidence. Prior to take off, all engine check are fine. Any pointers? Thanks for your help. F.
  16. The one I got is not, but an electric version exist. Mind you, it is twice the price
  17. I just got my range extending new device and I confirm it fits through the baggage door un changed!
  18. here you are: https://www.deltahawk.com/
  19. Hi folks, Just to let you know that I have successfully located the regulator and adjusted the vacuum down. It's a contortionist exercise to reach and it's with finger tips! I suspect that in a proper adjustment, many of the wiring could be disconnected to give a better access, and most definitely required during the filter change. Thanks for your help. F.
  20. Thank you, I will try again tomorrow.
  21. I have to say I couldn't find the regulator behind all the wires etc. does it have to be opened up somehow to be reached? thnks for your help Fred.
  22. Hi Eric, the SMM describes just this: What is the "Bending tab" in your picture and which screw is to be turned? Thanks for your help.
  23. Thank you for your replies. I wonder if the high vacuum could be also because I got a G5 to replace the HSI? Less equipment to share the vacuum with? The Artificial Horizon being alone to take the full vacuum?
  24. Hi to all, Are there any illustrated doc or video or discussion thread explaining how to adjust the vacuum suction? I believe through the regulator? mine is indicating too high on the warning messages. it's a 1989 M20J model. your input will be greatly appreciated. thx.
  25. This is what mine looks like. (supplied by James by the way).
