  1. Thank you. I am unfortunately traveling now, but I'll try that as soon as I return
  2. So this is a known issue but not all units are concerned. I am not sure if those who do not have any issues also have YD? is the problem due to poor installation? Faulty component? It happens in different situations: - Level flight, NAV mode, turn >90° - HDG mode, straight IAS climb. Random disconnect during the climb My installer is in another continent ... I hope to get support from a local Garmin dealer How do you for that? I have a micro SD in the G5 but nothing gets written in it. Do you have to activate logging somewhere?
  3. yes I have YD also
  4. I have a gfc500 + gtn7t0xi +g5 + g3x I am having many AP disconnection issues. I have been able to repeat at least one instance: every time there is an important change in heading from one leg to the other, the AP disconnects. Is this a normal behavior?
  5. My plane is supposed to have 75 gal usable fuel. I also have unreliable gauges, with the right one showing 27 when full and the left one always showing full. I have a flap on top of the tank and I wonder when I should consider the tank to have reached 37.5 gal: when fuel is just level with the flap or until it almost overflows ?
  6. Is the fixed landing gear also deiced with tks? Otherwise wouldn't it build ice, increasing weight rapidly?
  7. Thank you! I have G3x with eis, gtn750xi, gfc500, remote audio panel and remote ADSB. Not sure how I can share a picture of the panel. I am using the "add files" button https://photos.app.goo.gl/mCqmVMFcfBB2SBcg8 I hope the above link works
  8. hello, I just ferried with a friend of mine my M20K Encore from south africa to italy. A seven days long journey! We flew between 5 and 6 hours/day and carried a 33 gal turtlepac. The management of this extra fuel made me wish for three features in the garmin g3x: - A coutdown timer - A fuel alarm based on fuel used rather than time - An independant fuel management for each tank. Since the g3x is new to me, maybe some of these features are already present ? Thank you for your comments
