  1. Well... I had shared the image with them with the red arrow pointing to the component that I need to replace at the beginning of this post but I will ask again. Of course they know that they have a different form factor they are not BK. I will reach out again. I do not want to open the BK switch kill it and have no plan be so thanks. +++Quick update+++ From email I just received it sounds like their trim switch for GFC 700 replacement may also be included in the STC +++
  2. This is now becoming a mistery. This is the email from CYGNET on my request.
  3. Good point on interpretation. But that is exactly what I am unable to find. The alternative part.
  4. I called them and they told me that it cannot replace the one I have with GFC700
  5. Yes it is just an unsprung spring in one of the two thumb operated actuators. It should be an easy fix but I cannot even find info on how it is built. The used one turned out to have bad microswitch so completely different issue.
  6. I have a Bendix King trim and hate the (100% total lack of) support. I purchased a used spare part but no joy. A new BK replacement ( part#: 200-2960-00) is $800 for a new switch which is insane. Is there an option to replace this part with other legal yoke mounted trim switches out there? I have a GFC700 autopilot.
  7. Happening to me as well since the last time the A&P cleaned the air filter on my O. Just a couple of weeks ago.
  8. Apparently there is a 'tool' that makes it easier to reset the springs inside but I have no idea who sells the tool.
  9. My trim switch Bendix King is acting up. The metal rod that connects the two switches came out about half an inch. I pushed it back in but now the trim switch goes on and off. I think a spring inside unsprang. Is there a way to set it back where it belongs and fix it? These things seem to be incredibly expensive and there seems to be no alternative in the market. Thanks for your help!
  10. Great to know thanks to both. I will look into the LED option in the future. For now I disconnected it so I don't risk into depleting the battery if someone clicks on it during the day without knowing. I don't fly at night often enough for now to justify this option.
  11. Hi there! Anyone had this issue before? Ovation 3 baggage door light turns on and then stays on. I had to unscrew the cover and remove the bulb. I found nothing in the POH on this. Thanks! Healthpilot
  12. I used Premier in Ft. Lauderdale. Probably a bit more expensive but very detail oriented.
  13. Just wanted to say THANK YOU Craig!!
  14. Wow this IS a really cool sim!
  15. Thanks Steve and -a- I appreciate your guidance. I have found a general Ovation 2 POH. I will review Don Kaye’s training resources. I used to fly and tow gliders in Europe but that’s ages ago. My most recent experience is SR22T G3 Avydine v7. My offer was accepted an hour ago so I guess I semi-own a Mooney now!
  16. Hi there! I am new so be patient with me. I loved Mooneys since I was a kid and I am looking at purchasing one. I Googled like a maniac. No joy. Is there any good transition training resource online? Thanks for your help!
