  1. I understood this part I just didn't know if them being wholesalers excluded me from buying from them.
  2. Hey guys, The side of my airplane has this plastic wall panel and the armrest to it is cracked. Has anyone ever replaced the entire panel or fixed the arm rest before? I’m open to any sort of solution to fix, replace, or substitute. Also, the markings on my fuel selector have faded away. Does anyone know what they are supposed to say and if there are pre made cut out stickers that I can get to put on? I have a label maker and wouldn’t mind doing it myself, but I just want to be 100% sure I label it right. Thanks for the help in advance!
  3. Thanks for the advice! I'll make sure to follow that when ordering and cutting. I reached out to them in regards to sample and colors. They included this in their response. Wondering if you ran into this as well? "We are also a wholesaler so ideally we would need a business license focused on the aerospace/upholstery industries to insure wholesale pricing"
  4. Your post really put some things into perspective. As someone that trained on the G1000 suite...I will be the first to admit I was definitely handed everything to me. Creating my own IFR panel definitely has it's learning curve and I appreciate everyone's willingness to teach and patience in helping me piece things together.
  5. Brain, Thanks for all that information. Any additional pictures you post would greatly be appreciated! I’m glad that you are satisfied so far and I hope it all works well for you. In regards to the NAV/COM situation...I guess you learn something new each day. I went digging for information based on the pages you said to read and here are some screenshots I took of the FAR AIM. Obviously this is my first time hearing this so I’m trying to make sense of all of it. Someone could go the GPS 175 (if ADSB is not needed) + G3X Touch and have all the instruments they need to shoot GPS approaches. I guess the only thing 2 COMS does is provide redundancy and ease of use, but as far as my understanding goes you don’t need the NAV radios if you have GPS WAAS.
  6. Thanks for the link! Did 12 feet cover just the floor carpet or did you do the side lining as well?
  7. Hey Brian! Love the look of your new and improved panel. I'm looking at doing something very similar in the near future. I just had a few questions if you don't mind answering. 1. Where did you get/construct the powder coated panel? I love the clean and new look and want to replicate that. 2. How much did the entire upgrade cost you with labor included? 3. Were you satisfied with the company that installed and did it and how long did it take? 4. I noticed that you went with the GNX375 which does not have nav/com. From my understanding...that is something that u need in order to be IFR certified?? That's why I was looking at gtn 750 or 650 but if there an alternate way to do that with purchasing a gps navigator I would love to know. Please educate me if I'm wrong here. Thanks!
  8. Would you be able to post the link to where you purchased the carpet? Were you satisfied with the qaulity, look, and color?
  9. Love the insight. Thanks
  10. Let me know what you come up with. Good luck!
  11. This is what i'm planning on doing with the carpet and interior lining. Let me know what material you find if you get it online. I'm looking at available wool options. Definitely seems a LOT cheaper. Do you plan on adding some fire proof insulation underneath as well? I feel like that would help with the noise in the airplane.
  12. This might be a dumb question but what's stopping us from getting some sort of fire proof carpet/material and cutting it out to our proper measurements and doing all that ourselves?
  13. Let us know if it fits!
  14. I'm gonna get a voltmeter and see if there is any power coming through. I will update you guys when I find out!
  15. Another day...another thing I learned. Looks like i will be getting a voltmeter to check and see if there's any power coming through the sockets.
  16. I feel like if I know what the problem is and what I needed to do to fix it...I could do it. I would rather not have to pay a mechanic if the simpler and cheaper solution is to just get an incandescent bulb. I guess I'm trying to go with the simplest and cheapest fix (seems to be incandescent light bulb) but if there's an easy fix to the LED bulbs I would prefer those.
  17. So I should buy incandescents instead of LED bulbs?
  18. Follow up question to that ^ Has anyone gotten the Pre-Cut Vinyl Floor Kit? Thoughts? How was the sound reduction? Better or worse than carpet?
  19. Purchased these ones and they unfortunately did not work. I tried both bulbs, Master switch was on. Moved the dimmer switch in all directions. I tried everything to see if I could get them to work but they didn't. I don't know if it's an issue with the airplane or the type of bulb.
  20. Thank you for the update Jan. Looking forward to attending my first MooneyMAX conference some day! -Tahir
  21. I definitely did not. Slight jaw drop.
  22. Yea I checked their website but didn't see anything just yet. Wanted to see if anyone else here had any idea. Do you plan on going @carusoam?
  23. Does anybody know if this conference will be cancelled due to COVID-19?
  24. I agree. Warm/soft white is like the standard "yellow" lightbulbs
  25. I think my filter is red too I just didn't think of that in the moment. Thanks
