  1. Yes, I was at 6.5qts. Was at 5qts upon landing...
  2. So I’ve had this in flight today (25”/2500). Noticed this 10mins after departure then tried to throttle back to 23” and open the cowl flaps. Helped a bit the oil temp but the pressure stayed low. Oil change was last week and I only flew a 15mins trip since so that must come from that but I can’t figure out what the problem is.
  3. Thank you! This is really helpful. I have been planning the following thanks to that: KTTN - KMAO/KFLO to stretch my legs - KISM/X04 to leave the Mooney overnight. For Miami, KHWO seems like a great option. KOPF is likely very expensive. Might also stop at 42J for fuel on the way back
  4. I'll be around the convention center.
  5. Florida pilots, I'm planing on spending 4 days in Miami then 3 in Orlando at the end of February and would love to take the Mooney with me. Any recommendations on airports I could overnight at? Since I'll be in each area for a few days, happy to drive a bit more if I can avoid prohibitively high fees. Thank you!
  6. Exactly what I'm going to do tomorrow.
  7. "The price for replacement is $1,500.00 I was as shocked as you most likely are right now."
  8. Just checking if you guys made a deal or if this is still available. Thank you
  9. I've emailed him. Thank you
  10. Quoted me $1500... I guess I'll keep the current one
  11. Thank you all. I justified emailed Autopilot Central. Clearly not worth 1AMU to me but let's see what they come up with.
  12. hahahah yes, I think it's the old gas technology. There is some LED replacement for the KX165 but not for this one.
  13. Has anyone replaced the screen lens for their autopilot? Mine is swollen where the HDG and ALT lights are. I’ve recently replaced the lens of a KX165 but not finding much information for the autopilot KAP150 one. Many thanks,
  14. Exactly, that's why I don't want to use these tables.
  15. Couldn't get the original AOPA fuel cards so drafted these. Added the towing warning as suggested by @ilovecornfields. Fuel cards.pdf
  16. This is what I get with Garmin (table supposedly from a 231): This one I can easily update with my numbers but then there is the full one:
  17. My aircraft type (252) doesn't seem to be on Garmin Pilot's performance data list. Closest one is the 231 but the performances are not the same. What do fellow 252 pilots use? Many thanks,
  18. There is actually the same Garmin trade-in for the 480. I believe the value is the on par with the one offered for the 430.
  19. This group can be very useful for the 480: https://groups.io/g/gns480-users
  20. My prop is due for OH soon and I'm considering the MT 4-blade as I like the extra ground clearance and the weight loss. Apart from these, I'm not sure I would see any perf gains with that engine/prop set up.
  21. Couldn't a simple jack to USB cable plugged directly into a laptop work? e.g. something like this
  22. I've heard the same thing from a few J owners. My source for engine parameters is this article: http://www.mooneypilots.com/mapalog/M20K252_evaluation_report.htm I'm still learning to run this engine properly though so I might be wrong to trust these recommendations.
  23. I guess the only way to get rid of that would be to get a JPI that's primary, allowing me to remove that probe and get consistency across all 6 probes.
  24. And removed both upper and lower cowlings to have a look at the probes. Here are cylinders #2, 4 and 6. #2 seems to be set up at a different place and I believe the other cable is the OEM probe still showing on the old CHT gauge.
