  1. My guess is around 45k to 50k but i should be getting the quote monday or tuesday.
  2. whats your current setup of a panel? you have a picture?
  3. I got 22 hours from chandler, 40 from howard, and like 43 from lasar. I just booked a slot in december for a gnx375, a g3x 10.6 with eis, and a gfc500.
  4. Most of the time you add a relay switch that differentiates gps from nav and that just hooks up to the hsi. So it would be hooked up to your hsi in most cases, and you switch between gps and nav.
  5. Dont remove the plexiglass. I made tgat mistake. Took the plexiglass to find out it comes out from behind. Relatively simple but kindof a pain. Hardest parts is fitting the slots of the mounts back in. You can probably do it in 2 to 3 hours if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.
  6. My favorite accounts as of now: Flightchops (great for learning stuff and very interesting episodes) The candourist ( by far the best cinematogrophy. I love this guys work. Probably my favorite out of the bunch with flight chops at a veryclose second) Aviation101 (great for learning stuff) Matt guthmiller (great stuff but some of the stuff he does seems a little bit questionable, but hes pic so he should do him) Funforlouis (world trip had some very interesting episodes)
  7. I got quoted 900 and its taking a while hence the reason im looking if someone has a salvaged one. Not many totalled ovations or eagle, which is a good thing tho.
  8. Im looking for an induction duct for my Eagle. Its currently in annual and is one of the pieces that needs replacement. Anyoje have one or know where I can get one please let me know. Nik 949 267 8813
  9. Pretty sure its this one. I remember finding this one looking for a partnership when I was looking for My Eagle as It was the only one with a 4 blade and the only one in france.
  10. and you get a new 2 year warrenty on the Stec 3100, and 1 year warranty on the servos, that are probably the age of the plane, so it doesn't hurt to have some warranty on 2 decade old parts.
  11. when buying used Stec products, their STC's are very expensive from What I've heard. you might get the 55x computer for 5K, install for 3k, and have to pay a 3 to 5K stc, or you can buy the 3100 for the 10k and install it for another 3K. the 3100 is the new version of the 55x. With the 3100, you buy the new control head, return the 30 control head, and keep the servos.
  12. id recommend doing the 3100 over the 55x
  13. that is so painful. had one of the nicest paint jobs I've seen on a Mooney
  14. A garmin g5 with garmin scribbled out and bendix king written on top.
  15. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/aviationalerts/g5-electronic-flight-instrument-removal-of-fiki-limitation-and-preparation-of-g5-installation-for-g3x-installations-using-a-g5-as-a-standby-instrument/
  16. $52 dry. Thats a steal.
  17. I got 12.2K from Howard in KPOC.
  18. I've never flown one, and I'd take a BO or a M20 any day over one, but their marketing team deserves everything. They do an insane job. Take their marketing team and move them to Mooney, and I'd guarantee that Mooney's sales would at least duplicate. kind of like Garmin.
  19. and this is why cirrus is selling so well
  20. Yeah. One is a 900 and the other a 960
  21. Is this the mooney located in North vegas right next to EGA aviation?
  22. 140 to put it down. 106 to put it up. And fastest extended speed is 165..
  23. any updates on these? I saw the M20S got added to list of supported aircraft.
  24. Ive heard the yaw damper is really good on the gfc500 and makes a giant difference and the yaw damper on the 3100 is okay at best.
