  1. question, i know this is an old thread so forgive me. But, random thought, if i could find one, could i put say a K wing on a late model E? basically i'm thinking might be a better way to get extended range tanks
  2. thinking mooney could make cash offering upgrade cheaper than others, no reason they couldn't offer avionics upgrades or speed mods as said earlier., annuals, of course, extended range tanks 8)????? and of course refurb landing gear, engines etc... , painting??? but i think ultimately, the goal should be to make airplanes and drones, other wise you're just a msc waiting to go out of business. do whatever you need to automate production to drive down cost.
  3. a&p can probably make them in no time. watched a sheet metal guy replace a piper door from a sheet of aluminum in like 45 minutes, out of the back of his truck.
  4. I"d be interested if there's a plan to make a profitable business out of it. heck produce a e/j size aircraft under mosaic, work on automating production.
  5. I have a surefly on my m20e, awesome. lycoming eis is a surefly with fixed timing
  6. the following with a detachable cotton lanyard has replaced my fixed step
  7. i'm calling around now, i'm trying to decide between crider, corona or the guys in miami.
  8. yes i know, i just want to be able to say i can utilize the privs once i initially get it 8)
  9. currently basicmed, mostly due to my ame retiring during covid. originally i had my class 2 and basicmed, 2nd has expired and until i get my commercial, i just have no reason to bother with renewing. heck, i'm not really planning on flying for hire, i may not bother with it. well unless someone wants to hire me to fly jets 8)
  10. probably true, but, it works within 5 or 6 blades every time. Guess you could just crank with the pump on till it starts.
  11. i do exactly as you've been told, hot start, if that doesn't work, flood it.
  12. I'm taking mine to a sweet upholstery shop that handles my cars. planning on a peanut butter quilted look, maybe peanut butter seating with black sides, kinda like the new denali ultimate
  13. can you just get rid of the eletrics and put in manual control? I only have an E with manual cowl flaps, can't even imagine how making it electric improves things
  14. yeah but it's still a Honda Civic
