  1. Well done. Keep filing IFR as much as possible to keep you sharp. I always tell my students. If you don't use it you'll loose it. It is a well deserved rating and enjoy it!!

  3. I do have a POH but is not telling me anything about HI boost start up. Maybe I should find a new POH

  5. They removed the prime switch. I am only left with hi-boost and low-boost. Both work but Im having trouble get the right amount fuel to engine.
  6. The primer switch went belly up. So they decided to run thr Hi-boost pump for the primer. I dont know if that makes a difference because I thought that both supply fuel for the start. Dont know if Im using to much boost...
  7. Hi guys. The engine is a Continental TIOS360. I had no issues before till it come out the shop. Will go out there again today and try. Thank you for all the sugestions.
  8. I will look into the tubes. One said seem to do a better than the other side. Will new tubes be better for the cold?
  9. Hi everyone I pulled the plane out today for a quick flight. Was inside the hanger (temp60F). Had the mixture and power forward. Primed till FF. Back on the the mixture and power 1/8 open. Cranked the engine, advanced the mixture all in but the plane will not start. Never had this issue till after the anual. Took me 15min to get it going. Any suggestions? JT
  10. Hi Everyone Was flying today (-15C) outside and coming in to land, I used the speed brakes. They only open half-way and slow to open. Decided to close them/retract but even slower on the close. Landed the plane and pushed back into hangar and brakes were still 1/3 open. My vacuum pump show in the green and all vacume gauges work fine. Any help on this. My AME said he does not know.   16. Good day folks I have notice some moisture on the oil dip stick when I check the oil. Any ideas on how I can prevent that. The plane fly about 1-2 flights a week and is in a heated hanger with the temp turn down to 15C(60F). Thanks J

  22. When I have the electric on. The trim tab trim nose down. Autopilot not holding alt when engage. Tab always trim down 4/500 fpm. Glideslope above the and autopilot still strim down and not capturing the GS

  24. So for a M20k 231 it should be vacuum?
  25. Are all the speedbrakes red. I think mine got painted white and that is why they so slow to close. Also do they all use elecrical source or are some using the vacuum pump. Thanks
