    Pretty sure I have two feet from comm antenna's. It's the ELT that's 9" away.

    My ELT antenna is 9" from my Gps antenna. I have a Artex 200 Elt. Looks like manufactured in 2001.

    So shot the same offending approach for the 12th time in a week. This time everything on but no ELT. Strong satellite reception the whole and no issues.Prevoius ten attempts had issues every time. Uh? So now what? ELT antenna too close to GPS antenna or bad ELT?

    Shot the same approach last night with mixed results. First approach turned everything off. Ipad, gdl 39 and cell phone. Lost LPV but way before final but came back quickly. Then I turned everything on and no problems at all. Somthing I thought of is about maybe 25 miles from the airport there are TV towers that are about 2300 feet in the air. Thoughts?

    Garmins reply to the video Thank You for contacting Garmin International. From your video it appears that you have WAAS RF COM interference. Please contact your Garmin dealer. They will need to troubleshoot the cause of the interference at the aircraft. This could be caused by multiple systems in the aircraft that are transmitting near the GPS signal range. Items transmitting near that range may have a harmonic that ends up at the same frequency of the WAAS GPS signal of 1575.42 MHZ. This will cause the GPS signal to drop out. The GNS 530W will not cause the problem. Best Regards,

    I'll check to see what software version I have. Two months ago I did the adsb out upgrade to my 330 transponder. I believe it did involve some programming in the 530.

    Okay so video may be too large. What I noticed was I received a call from Atc. Two satellites briefly dropped out then the Lpv went to yellow. Soon as I switched to tower I lost most of the satellites for a second. This all happen prior to the final approach fix. Lpv went back to green and all was normal.

    Does anyone know how far apart the Elt antenna and Gps antenna should be? Mine are 9" apart. Maybe a thing?

    Is it at all possible it has something to do with settings in the 530? About a month ago I did the adsb out upgrade to my 330 transponder. After of which my Gpss wasn't working. They had to reprogram something in the 530 to get it to work.

    Just did two Rnav approaches into Ksac and same thing both times. Had Lpv all the way until right before the final approach fix. Lpv turned to yellow and after crossing the final approach fix it went to Lnav. Flew back to Klhm and all was normal on the Rnav 15. Somebody had suggested to flip to the satellite page and check reception.

    Yeah I would have it down graded from Lpv to Lnav right after the final approach fix on the Rnav approach. I've had two antennas and same thing. Did a Rnav back into my home airport after the issue and it was fine.

    They did verify I had the correct coax. I was just thinking when I replaced the interior I remember that there was a lot of excess cable. Wonder if the cable length makes a difference. Either way I'm going to have it replaced asap.

    Thanks for all the replys. They pulled the box and found no issues. They changed the antenna and the connector. Can't recall if the connector on the box was changed. The correct coax was already in the plane, so it is original, vintage 2001 I believe. There had been thoughts that the antenna was too close to the ELT antenna. Never had an issue until doing the Wass upgrade.

    This is on GPS on the 530. It happens so random, you never know when it's going to happen.
