  2. this is not an afordable option for the cost of the 9000d+ you could by 430w and a gdl88 and now you got more than just the lynx and even the base model cost more than the gdl88.It would have to be fabulous to justify

  14. So true if you look at the depreciation on a car versus a plane the car actually has a higher cost per operating hour that a plane and depreciates faster how many cars are worth as much or more than you payed for it 25-30 years down the road and I'm not talking about the 2% that become sought after that just pot luck
  15. Of corse they conned me into a 400w while I was there too lol
  16. Just had my #1 kx155 repaired and they were able to fix it for 250 bucks a lot cheaper then a new radio alway worth checking a good repair shop

  20. I just had mine looked at because I would see a small wet spot on the caliper every once in a while and they said I needed new line since they have no been replaced for about 12 years and when they took every thing apart I had 2 lovely cracked calipers that were the cause of the wet spot this trip to the shop for an engine monitor just keeps getting more expensive lol
  21. I think if I operated off turf bladders would be to only way to go. It think personally it's what ever makes you feel comfortable with the plane me personably I will do strip and seal.
  22. by the way may mean nothing my avionics guy said he would hold off another year or so he thinks something it going to change ether in price or something he didn't elaborate
  23. the kt74 will give you traffic in but only when you are in atc area and it requires a wass feed and the ads-b reciever witch they fail to mention in their description. once i totaled everything they said i need assuming you already had a wass feed and didn't have to buy that too the gdl88 is the best bang for the buck but the kt74 is a nice replacement for a kt76a so is the trig tt31 still trying to make up my mind
  24. Just remember once you make the decision to go bladders there's no going back
