Wheel well and gear paint touch up

the landing gear and inside of the wheel wells are starting to look like they need some cosmetic attention. I have a lot of paint chips and bare spots. It is factory paint scheme from 1984, everything is white. 

Anyone touched up the paint in this area? What did you use? How did you do it?

before my paint job I just used hardware store paint...off white, or what ever matches your color.  Just tape off what you don't want painted and put up some paper so you don't get the bottom of the wing with over spray.

I have been using Rust Oleum for over 20 years and it holds very good, even when cleaning over with MEK. Make sure the surface is clean before painting.
