In spite of some marginal weather forecasts in parts of the state, we had 6 Mooneys and one Grumman bring 15 people together for a very pleasant lunch at St. Augustine. Our next event is this Saturday, October 13, at High Jackers Restaurant on the Flagler Airport (XFL). Future events all are on the second Saturday of the month: October 13, Flagler (KXFL) November 10, Punta Gorda, (KPGD) December 8, Lakeland (KLAL) All events start at 11:30. FEBRURARY 9, SEBRING, (KSEF) OUR OWN FL WOMAN, CAROL ANN GARRATT WILL BE TALKING ABOUT HER THIRD TRIP AROUND THE WORLD IN A MOONEY, TO RAISE MONEY FOR ALS RESEARCH. SHE WILL BE GIVING THE PRESENTATION IN MANY LOCATIONS, AND IT'S ALWAYS A TREAT TO LISEN TO HER. Dave would appreciate it if you E-mail him by Thursday night prior to the event to let him know if you are plan to make it. He then lets the restaurant know the approximate head count. No one is obligated to come if they told him they were coming and then can't make it. Joe Colonna has MAPA Logs in bound binders dating back to the 1980s that he will give to anyone that will pick them up or pay the freight.
