tim Posted July 29, 2012 Report Posted July 29, 2012 While at Oskosh I spoke with the Insight and GAMI people about leaning this engine. I have run 50 degrees ROP for the last 30 years and they are telling me that 80 degrees is better. They also said for LOP run at 30 degrees. Any comments Quote
KSMooniac Posted July 29, 2012 Report Posted July 29, 2012 The search function is your friend. This topic has been thoroughly debated and explained on many occasions here, so go back and read the posts and you'll likely find that yes, 50 ROP is a terrible place to run an engine making 65% power or more.
