I have never had a forced off field landing, but I do have first hand experience with the site picture out of a B55. It’s insightful as someone who’s actually been there and done that I only can base this off what I see in that video (which doesn’t say too much), combined with my experience I remember one of my recurrent rides, single engine turbo prop, single pilot, I get a engine fire, as I get low level I start getting other malfunctions on the screen, my comment was “don’t care, landing” the instructor was trying to get me distracted in a emergency during a extra critical critical stage of flight. Same reason many jets inhibit many warnings on the takeoff and landing phase, when it comes to certain things there is a range of altitude and airspeed where it’s stick and rudder time, not heads down in a checklist time. For the plane in question there is also a good chance the engine was still making SOME useful power, as was the case in my forced landing and something > nothing Again without having solid info much of this is all speculation
