YuriE Posted September 17 Report Posted September 17 This set https://www.knots2u.net/hub-cap-w-access-door-6-wheel-set-of-two-lsm-200-701-1/ looks great, but how does one get around the issue of nipples hard pressed against wheel bearing cover? So far - I couldn't check tire pressure or inflate wo removing wheel cover AND bearing cover. With that - these will not help? Or did you have different experience/figured something out?

I have those on the Meridian i fly. Yeah, I basically take them all the way off to check pressure. It’s a pia. Actually, now I take out 2 of the screws fully and one about halfway. Swing the cover up, check pressure, swing down, screws back in. Still not horribly convenient. It might be better on the Mooney though, the Meridian has a gear door on that side which makes it worse. The little triangle door is useless in my opinion.
Delta Posted September 17 Report Posted September 17 Going with a tube with a TR-87 (70 deg) valve is an option. See previous thread on tube stem issue: https://mooneyspace.com/topic/38495-inner-tube-stems/
