All the bad press about G100UL are put out by the same people who don’t like lean of peak operation. They can’t understand it and anything new is bad. I have run a couple tanks full so far and no issues. I just wipe off any gas that spills from my wing. No fuel leaks, no bad smell, runs as good or better on my Bravo and I don’t foul my plugs or valves with lead. When the last of the TEL is made in England, I guess all the complainers will let their planes sit rather than use unleaded fuel. R100 won’t work for 30% of the fleet. Other than the one guy putting out the videos from San Jose that complains how bad it is for paint and how planes  leaking fuel have issues. Fix the damn tanks and shut up.

A couple of tanks. No lead on your valves or plugs after a couple of tanks? Guess that settles it. N251JK shows no activity since 16 June 2024.

Good that it works for you! PLease let us know how things are after you burn few more tanks. Just curious where are you buying G100UL. The Bravo listed in your signature appears to be based in NV and this fuel does not appear to be availabe in that area. Also, as others noted, it does not seem to be flying very often. I would be interested in how were the various seals affected by G100UL presumably sitting in the tanks for over a year. Also, if I recall the timeline correctly, G100UL was first sold in CA at KRHV in October of 2024, more than 3 months AFTER the last recorded flight of N251JK. Maybe you have two Bravos - one for 100LL and one for G100UL?

N49DS (the Bravo formerly known as N251JK) also not flown in since April 2025, was in Reno before that until a quick flight to CA before that in October.

very curious how this goes, wondering about valve seat recession, that was what stopped the trials at UND University of North Dakota about a year ago, thought about putting a set of Bravo cylinders on the shelf and held off until this shakes out, cylinders with improved valve seats may be needed to handle the unleaded avgas, keep us posted

Well, not sure about the veracity of the OP. Whether it was sarcasm or just stirring the pot…

I recently had my tanks sealed, and prior to doing this I contacted Mr Braley and asked him exactly what I was supposed to use to seal my tanks to make sure it would tolerate his fuel.
he had no answer. He told me he would look into this matter, and that he would discuss it with the shop doing the work. Neither happened.
when I spoke to him he said Mooney installed the sealant incorrectly by not putting sealant between parts when assembling.
but this was done in many mooneys, and even some of those have exhibited leakage after gu100.
given what has been proven with regard to its effects on sealant, as well as orings and rubber, it would appear that there is work left to do before it’s ready for prime time.
happy your plane tolerates it so far. More successful data is needed before I put it in my planes.

in which plane did you put the fuel? N251JK has not seen KRHV or KWVI or TX or missisipi...your last flight was 1 year ago

UND issues were NOT with G100UL, they were with 94UL.

And the issues have been traced to running pretty much at peak EGT at 75% power or higher.
