Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has updated their AI with a AV-30C. My vacuum system has been showing low pressure, even after replacing all the filters. The AI tumbles like crazy on the ground and sometimes won't even come up in the air. I want to get rid of the vacuum all together so was thinking of the AV-30C (I like the classic round look for my 6-pack) and wanted to see if anyone has experience with this on an M20. I have an M20J with GNS530 and King HSI slaved. Thanks!

I just did.  Haven't gotten a pitot static transponder cert yet, and still need to test fly.  Have an issue with my electric fuel pump I'm working through first.  If you search, there are other long posts about the AV-30C on Mooneyspace.
