rturbett Posted May 5, 2024 Report Posted May 5, 2024 Is the left hand wing upper surface as strong as the right hand side? We climb into our planes on the right side- I am polishing/ waxing the plane, and cant reach the left hand side above the windows without climbing on the wing. is it safe/ as strong as the right side? Thanks, Rob Quote

Thanks, Rob I believe the answer is no. I'm pretty sure the side with the wing walk is reinforced. Quote
PT20J Posted May 5, 2024 Report Posted May 5, 2024 No, there is extra stiffening for the right wing walk. You can see it if you look in the right wheel well and compare it with the left. Quote
rturbett Posted May 5, 2024 Author Report Posted May 5, 2024 I’m glad I asked before doing something stupid….. thanks Rob 2 Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted May 5, 2024 Report Posted May 5, 2024 You can slid your butt up there on the left side, but don’t walk over there unless you just stand on the rivet lines. If you slide your butt up there on the left wing, make sure there are no rivets in your pants. Quote
