Sounds doable. The PTT switch that Mooney uses would probably fit in the hole. You will need a machinist to make an adapter that fits the hole. You could 3D print one too, but a machined piece would look better.

Thank. That is exactly what I was looking for. Mine is and E model too. I'm wondering if I could legally drill into the yoke to make the holes larger?

My 65 C used the standard hole, and a standard switch… and made a nice PTT set up…

Of course, I wished MS was around at the time to get the Brittain system working correctly instead….  :)
 

Then a vac switch in the panel would have been even better… to go with the PTT…
