Looking for a M20K/M20J

Hi all,

As you may know from other of my posts, I'm looking for a M20J (prefereably) or M20K, I'm looking less than 5k TTAF and less than 1000 SMOH.

There are veeeery few in the market, and the one that appear, they are sell in no time. Which is the best approach for doing the search? I'm located in Houston, Texas. Maybe a broker I can send them what I'm looking for maybe contacting aeroclubs or similar?

GMax is a popular option around here. Jimmy Garrison visits MS from time to time.

In the current market, the flashy sales sites (TAP, Controller) are very picked-over with low inventory. Good planes (well, all planes, really) seem to go fast. 

Reaching out to GMax or watching some of the more targeted classifieds might be a good option. Mooney Flyer has a “For Sale” section that’s worth a look. 

Also worth noting that you can set up alerts on all of the major aircraft sales sites. Barnstormers is much much less flashy than the other big ones, but has a functioning alert system and honestly seems to have inventory that’s as good as the others.
